Member Testimonials

"Initially I was nervous about joining MADDS, I had little to no dancing and singing experience and didn't know anyone. On joining however, everyone has been so friendly, warm and welcoming. They're an eccentric bunch aka really fun! There's no judgement and every number is inclusive as they take into consideration everyone's strengths and abilities! If you're thinking of joining, give it a go, you won't regret it!"

"I love being part of MADDS! It's a fun place to go along and have a laugh, make new friends, put on amazing shows and learn a lot at the same time!"

"I enjoy MADDS as it gives me a reason to get out of the house and socialise and connect with people, I enjoy the fact that people don't feel pushed to be involved in everything but are encouraged to have a go at everything and that you are able to adapt the dances to those who struggle with the movements."

# I love the social aspect of MADDS, it's like meeting up with your mates once a week and having a jam."

"MADDs is always a super fun and supportive environment, it gives everyone equal opportunities and enables everyone to push themselves out of their comfort zone."

"MADDS has very quickly become my happy place - everyone is so kind and welcoming, and I am always excited to come to rehearsals! It's also somewhere I feel like I can get out of my comfort zone and try something new, because I know Aimee, Holly and the whole team will support me all the way."

"Everyone at MADDS made me feel so welcome when I joined and I instantly found that any nerves I had went away. It's such an amazing group where everyone is made to feel comfortable to try new things, no matter your ability or experience. "MADDS is a new and vibrant amateur dramatics group who have made me feel so welcome. I was always too nervous to join an established group, but the fact that we're all starting together at the same time means that there are lots of opportunities and fun times to be had!"

"MADDS is a great new society for Maldon and surrounding areas - started up recently so we're all new! Loads of great ideas coming from the lovely girls who run it Aimee & Holly, for upcoming sessions and showcases, it's great fun and you don't have to be up front, lots of backstage stuff to do too. Brilliant way to get to know people even if you come alone you won't feel alone for long, you can never have too many friends!"

"Since joining MADDS, I've felt very heard and supported. Everyone in the society is lovely and welcoming and there's such talent !!! I love being able to hear and share our voices and love for performance together."

"For a long time now we have been wanting to join a forward thinking choir, but even though we're a. couple still found it a bit daunting to go out and find one. Christmas came early for us when MADDS was formed. It's exactly what's needed, it promises to encompass so many aspects of stage performance and has a really strong vibe of inclusivity."
